In honor of National Coffee Day, we’re showing you some of our favorite coffee makers and accessories to make your morning caffeine fix that much more beautiful. Happy brewing!
Blue Bottle partnered up with Joey Roth (who also designed the ceramic speakers used in all the brick-and-mortar shops) to create the Moka Pot, a beautifully designed piece of kitchenware that is easy to use and makes some of the best coffee we’ve ever had.
The Chemex 6 Cup is a one piece pour-over brewer, popular in Blue-Bottles all over the Bay. The Chemex method allows you to brew your coffee for as long as you like without bitterness.
The extra-durable Falcon Enamelware Mug has become incredibly popular over the past few years for everything from morning coffee to backpacking trips due to the heavyweight steel and thick enamel it is comprised of. The Lino mug and Gino dripper set allows for perfect single-cup brewing every time. The double-walled glass dripper insulates your brewing coffee while the thick base of the Lino mug keeps the coffee warm after traveling through the coffee bed.
Like the Stack Mug, Heath’s Espresso Cup and Saucer are a beautiful way to start your morning. A more recent addition to the Heath collection, the Espresso Cup has a modern, squared out handle design and contrasting paint on the inside and outside.
The Stack Mug is a Heath classic. Part of the Rim collection, it was first designed in the 1960’s and has remained a staple for all the stoneware fanatics and lovers of this SF local brand. The print on this traditional mug, designed by Aino-Maija Metsola for Marimekko, is inspired by the changing natural landscapese in Finland.
You’ll need somewhere to set all of your goodies, and the Offi Scando Coffee Table is an ultra-modern piece with space on the side for magazines or books to allow for ample room on the table.
The Poppy Pour Over is a smart coffee machine that can be scheduled from the Wink iPhone app (which also can turn on lights and heating). Poppy will let you know when it’s time for refills on beans, water filters, and coffee filters, which can all delivered by Amazon when you’re running low.
The Takahiro Kettle is the “Rolls Royce of pouring kettles”, according to the professionals at Blue Bottle – it pours beautifully and it will look great atop your kitchen counter.
