If you find that you’re constantly fighting off the urge (or your roommate/partner/parents are fighting your urge) to paint one wall in your living room fuchsia and another one cerulean, or you regularly come home with brightly colored furniture that doesn’t quite match anything else, it may be time to check out some design inspiration from Mexico. These rooms feature the cheerful hues and mis-matched patterns of  traditional Hacienda style, yet feature contrasting modern lines and contemporary furnishings to add an edge.
